SPECIAL GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting world renowned expert pointe shoe fitter, ballet teacher, and content creator, Riley Thomas Weber at Limbers Dancewear this month!

A familiar personality on Instagram, Tik Tok, and at events like YAGP, UBC, ADCIBC, Riley will be our guest next month for a two-day pointe shoe fitting event August 22-23, followed by a series of master classes on August 24.

POINTE SHOE FITTINGS

Fittings will take place at Limbers Dancewear on Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23. A non-refundable fitting fee of $35 applies to all bookings and includes a personal fitting with Riley and a $20 credit towards a purchase of more than $50 on the day of the fitting. Please note that a separate booking is required for each dancer.

First pointe fittings are available, but dancers should be approved for pointe by their dance teacher.

Teachers are welcomed and encouraged to attend the fitting with their students!

CLASSES

Classes will take place at the following studios around the lower mainland on Sunday, August 24.

10:00am - 2 hour Master Class with Riley Thomas Weber at The Scotiabank Dance Centre in Vancouver ($85)

2:00pm - 75 min Intermediate Ballet Class with Riley Thomas Weber at Deas Island Dance in Tsawwassen ($55)

3:30pm - 75 min Advanced Pointe Workshop with Riley Thomas Weber at Deas Island Dance in Tsawwassen ($55)

6:30pm - 2 hour Adult Master Class with Riley Thomas Weber with Tryst Dance Collective in Langley - 18+ ($110)

Due to limited availability, class booking fees are non-refundable and are not able to be rescheduled.

ABOUT RILEY

Riley danced as a soloist with Ballet Minnesota, St. Paul City Ballet and Continental Ballet. His training began with Marnee Brant in Fargo, ND, and he received additional training from Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. Riley was the Ballet Master for the Mankato Ballet Company for 12 years and coached with Concept Pavielle in Minneapolis, MN. He is an American Ballet Theatre Certified Instructor and holds his degree in Dance from The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His students regularly get scholarships to the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Houston Ballet, and major ballet companies across the country. His students are heavily awarded at ballet competitions and consistently receive top scores at YAGP, UBC and ADCIBC. Riley is known for his direct and nurturing approach to classical ballet with an emphasis on the Balanchine aesthetic.
